What we stock

Jawatrend is a single-store catalogue of everyday goods for the kitchen, the desk, the toolbox and the home. It is small on purpose. Rather than list every variant of a thing, we pick one we would use ourselves and stand behind it.

How we choose it

Three questions decide whether something makes the catalogue: does it do its job well, will it survive being used often, and can it be repaired or replaced rather than thrown away? Anything that fails the third question has to be exceptional at the first two.

• Materials that age rather than degrade — stoneware, steel, canvas, solid wood.
• Shapes that are honest about their function instead of decorating it.
• Sizes and weights listed plainly, so nothing arrives as a surprise.
